Teacher Cathy is an experienced educator with over 15 years of teaching expertise across various age groups, from preschoolers to college students. Her passion for creativity and visual storytelling allowed her to connect deeply with learners, helping them discover self-expression through artistic exploration. While she enjoyed teaching older students, it was her experiences with young children that sparked a lifelong passion for early childhood education, ultimately guiding her transition to the preschool level.
For Teacher Cathy, teaching is more than just delivering lessons—it is about nurturing curiosity, fostering confidence, and cultivating a love for learning. She believes that every child is unique, possessing their own strengths, interests, and ways of understanding the world. Her philosophy centers on creating a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and develop at their own pace. She values play-based and hands-on learning, recognizing that young learners thrive when they can interact, experiment, and learn through meaningful experiences.
Teacher Cathy also emphasizes the importance of building strong teacher-student relationships. She believes that connection and trust are the foundations of effective learning. By showing patience, kindness, and genuine care, she inspires children to be curious, resilient, and compassionate individuals. Her approach integrates creativity into all aspects of learning, allowing students to express themselves freely while developing essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
