As the chairperson of this year’s ALPPS Pop Dance Contest, I couldn’t be more thrilled to share my incredible journey! Our school proudly emerged as champions in the preschool category, and we're all still on a high even now that it has been weeks later! The event was held on February 1, 2025, at the Events Hall, 3F SM Southmall, Las Piñas City.
At Mindbuilders, we wholeheartedly embrace Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory, which serves as the foundation of our educational practices. Supporting the Association of Las Pinas Private Schools (ALPPS) Multiple Intelligences Contests was a natural fit, providing an invaluable platform for our students to shine and showcase their unique talents.
Organizing this event has been an incredible experience, and seeing the kids shine on stage made every effort worth it. The dedication and hard work of our young dancers were truly inspiring, and their energy was absolutely infectious. From the tiniest steps to the grand finale, they poured their hearts into every move. What’s even more exciting is that this win has sparked a lasting passion for dance in our school community.
I am overflowing with gratitude for everyone who played a role in our success. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Kyle Santillan and Teacher Inna Castillo for their unwavering support and dedication in guiding our talented dancers throughout their practices. The enthusiasm shown by our parents and fellow teachers truly exemplifies our school spirit!
I would also like to extend my deepest appreciation to our ALPPS President, Sir Nelson Uy, and the overall chairperson of the Multiple Intelligences Contests, Ms. Kay Teodoro Ravago, for placing their trust in me. To my co-chairs, Sir John Mariano and Ms. Maria Teresa Pangilinan - Santos, thank you for being such reliable partners in this journey. And to all the officers, Leaders in Action, and teachers who lent their support—your hard work made a significant difference!
Together, we achieved something remarkable. Here’s to many more successful events and celebrations of our students’ diverse talents!
